Cubeware receives top ratings in BI Survey
Conducted by the independent market analyst Nigel Pendse, The BI Survey is the world’s largest study of the BI market. In a comprehensive questionnaire, actual BI users were asked to rate their solutions in day-to-day operations. The conclusions it makes, therefore, reflect real-world business scenarios – and not vendors’ opinions.
After data filtering, the eighth edition of the BI Survey analyzed 2,150 software installations from 32 industries in over 60 countries. In particular, business users who deployed Cubeware products following a comprehensive assessment achieved significant benefits – in part, because this intuitive BI software is fast to implement and easy to maintain.

High marks for functionality and ease of use
The detailed analysis again shows that Cubeware Cockpit is the preferred tool for business users who know what they want and, therefore, can implement their solutions effectively. Most users chose the software after a detailed evaluation and testing period. Cubeware users generally value key product-related features. 53% of Cubeware users named ‘functionality’ and 51% listed ‘ease of use’ as decisive factors for choosing Cubeware Cockpit.
Short implementation times
BI users that chose Cubeware made a solid choice. Overall, they had high rates of achieving product goals and business benefits. This is due in part to short implementation times which lead to fast first results. 66.9% of Cubeware projects are completed after just three months and 88.4% are finished after six months.
Low license costs and optimal usage
Cubeware customers also profit from low total costs as well. Both the low license costs and the optimal usage of purchased licenses gave the software excellent marks in the cost of ownership analysis. With a Cost of Ownership Index of .70, Cubeware ranked among the top vendors. The shelfware rate of unused licenses also played an important role in cost savings. With a shelfware rate of only 13.8%, Cubeware ranked second in the rankings and significantly below the average of 19.5%.

Superior quality and support
Cubeware users remained satisfied with their solutions in day-to-day operations. In fact, the software received the second lowest discontinuation rate among all evaluated products. The solutions also earned high marks for quality and support.
Short query and calculation times
One of the most important success factors in live applications is the speed of database queries. Cubeware Cockpit rated well in the direct product comparison with query and calculation times that were much faster than the average.
High usage rate and low ownership costs
Cubeware’s high usage rates and low cost of ownerships back the conclusions made in the detailed analyses on the product selection criteria of business users. Cubeware Cockpit stands out through its excellent price-performance ratio.
